• My current aim and fixation within my work is to
accurately portray the human figure, its livelihood,
and its varying emotions within my ballpoint pen
works. In my most recent series, I enjoyed imposing
different fashions and styles onto my subject to
portray how stylization can change so drastically the
“look” of an individual, and the image they portray
    to society.

    Intertwining contemporary fashion with figural
work, I capture the fleeting, carefree spirit of youth.
Using a common medium like ballpoint pen, often
found within careless doodles in school notebooks.

While I continue to explore different mediums, it
has remained a constant that ballpoint pen feels like
home. Still, I aim to broaden the scope of my
subject matter and expand my practice beyond
traditional artwork by gaining proficiency in the
rapidly evolving world of digital art. I aim to create
more works which exemplify the exuberance of
youth and/or the human figure’s inherent beauty,
while still finding inspiration in different subject
    matter.
